Farewell But Not Goodbye

Dear Sav-A-Life Shelby ministry partner:

It has been 40 years that I have had the privilege of serving in the prolife community. It is time that I bid farewell from my position and retire as Executive Director. I want to thank you for allowing me to serve you and your family. Although, I won’t be completely leaving but simply changing roles as a Senior Advisor working one day a week to help with other aspects of the ministry.

During my tenure at the Sav-A-Life Shelby the Lord has provided growth to the center, wonderful donors and seen many people trust Christ. We have seen babies born and lives changed, as well as a wonderful staff and volunteers that serve in an excellent team capacity at both Pelham and Chelsea. There are so many other blessings, and I have been honored to serve alongside them, but the time has come for me to redirect my life. I am leaving the position of Executive Director, but the board has asked me to serve one day a week until December 31, 2024. I will continue connecting with churches, businesses and individuals.

As I leave, I have one huge request for you. Because of the timing of my leaving, instead of the annual Walk For Life, will you give a special gift to Sav-A-Life Shelby by April 30? In 1984, I began serving Sav-A-Life in Auburn so this is my 40th year to serve in this life saving work.

I would be so honored to see forty thousand dollars come to Sav-A-Life Shelby as a legacy to this ministry. These gifts would continue providing hope to the community by saving lives.

Sincerely,
Bob Foust
Executive Director
Sav-A-Life Shelby Inc.
